During its 12 editions, the Colombian Cello Fest (Gran Encuentro de Chelistas) has established itself as a laboratory in which the cello dialogues with new music and different artistic disciplines. For a week, cellists from all over Colombia meet at the Universidad de los Andes, around an agenda that includes workshops, master classes, recitals, and concludes with a great concert that presents more than 100 cellists on stage.
